There are very bad consequences if you do an abortion illegally. All of the consequences are pretty harsh. One of the consequences is imprisonment for five years to life. If you perform an abortion without a license the fine is anywhere from one-hundred to five-hundred dollars a day. It’s also a Class C Misdemeanor. Also if you fail to report that you are legally required to perform an abortion it is a Class A Misdemeanor. If there are so many risks, why do people do this every day? But, the surgery can be performed up to twenty weeks. This surgery involves vacuum aspiration of the contents of the womb. A tube goes into your uterus. The tube is attached to a suction machine which is turned on. After the uterus has been emptied by suction, a spoon shaped tool may be used to make sure the uterus is completely empty.
