Are you pro-choice, or are you pro-life? These are the two common groups of abortion protests. Abortion has been a major issue in society for decade, even before the Roe v. Wade Act. Congress and the government have struggled to find a balance between the two. They are not many restrictions, to the protests, because of our natural human rights. I think there should be more restrictions on abortion, and protests. There are two stances to consider, when talking about abortion. You have the pro-life group and then you have the other group, pro-choice. The people who are pro-life feel that having an abortion is just like killing a person. They feel that abortion is the murder of a baby, the murder of a human. Now, if you’re pro-choice, you feel that no matter the situation it’s up to the women to make the decision. In the end, it’s up to what you think, and believe in. About 14,000 women get abortions due to trauma of rape or incest. According to the Department of Justice there are about 300,000 rapes every year, and 54% of the rapes are not …show more content…
If you are a republican you are probably leaning more towards the prolife spectrum. This is because of their party platform. In their party platform it brings up four main points about abortion that should be fought for. The republicans are prolife, and oppose the Roe v. Wade Act; they also strictly follow the fourteenth amendment. Most republicans are strictly prolife, however depending on the type of situation some republicans can see different views. The Democratic Party however has completely views on abortion. They are all for the Roe v. Wade Act, and they are prochoice, however like the republicans some can go either way depending on the situation. Even though the parties may have different views, they can have similar ones as well.
