Abortion in the US Did you know that twenty-one percent of all pregnancies end in abortion! (Guttmacher Para. 2) Abortion has been around for a long time. Giving women the right to abort the unborn babies has become a controversial issue lately. Whether or not to give them the right to abort the baby or to keep it. Abortion is wrong because it is the murder of unborn babies. Since the creation of America murder has been illegal. Why is this type of murder legal now? Is America losing its sites on the old ways? The US Code clearly states that “ Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being.” Abortion is just a fancied up word for the legal murder of innocent unborn babies. Those unborn babies could have the potential to become something great! They could discover the cure for cancer, become olympians, and set records, but instead of giving them a chance they are murdered. These unborn babies are the future for America and we are killing them off! How can Americans kill their own children? …show more content…
We are having to do this because women are unintentionally becoming pregnant! According to the Guttmacher Institute “Half of all pregnancies are unintended and four out of those 10 are aborted.” What does that say about Americans? These unborn babies are being aborted because we are careless when it comes to protection! People today have become cold, careless, and heartless. This is the future of America in these peoples hands and they are killing of the future! If men and women would just take a little more initiative when it comes to protection we wouldn't have to murder so many unborn
