Abortion Persuasive Letter

Dear In 1937 the Supreme Court passed the case Roe vs. Wade. That case has divided many Americans on whether abortion should be illegal or not. I am writing to you because I am Pro-life and think that abortion should be illegal. Have you ever thought that if your mother would have aborted you that you would not be here? To think that you did not get a choice on whether you got to live or not, well that is what some babies are facing. They had their whole life ahead of them and that just gets taken away from them. I believe that abortion is wrong no matter what the situation is. One reason why abortion is wrong is because it denies the child’s right to life. Aborting the baby also denies the child’s ability to enjoy what the world has to offer them. The sad part about abortion is that the baby cannot defend themselves at all. Not only does it have an effect on the USA but, it affects other countries. Abortion can also result into not being able to get pregnant in the future, many sickness' and even death. Abortion affects both victims in dangerous and physical ways. I understand that it is the mother’s body so it is her choice, but having an abortion could permanently damage her forever. I do not think that any women should have to deal with that because I feel like their life would be miserable. Finally the Bible specifically states that man “shall not kill” The Pope has claimed that abortion promotes a culture where human life is considered disposable where babies are discarded as ‘unnecessary’. Many Buddhists believes that abortion is the same to murder. The Koran says that all life is sacred no matter what. All life is special no matter what the situation is.
