Abortion impacts mothers greatly; it can take away the maternal instincts of a mother who has children in the future. A mother becomes desensitized to the meaning of life and the fragility of the well being of others after the abortion. Abortion takes a toll on many different things in life; not only does it take a toll on the mother, it takes a large toll on the mother’s family and friends. Many people believe that mothers’ should have a choice when it comes to abortion; however, abortion has shown to have long term effects on society, take a physical toll on women’s health, and often lack effectivity.

Many of those in society think that a good reason for an abortion is financial instability. Women who don’t have money to provide for themselves would have to work even harder to provide for not only one but two people. After childbirth, not only does the mother have to pay for the hospital bills, but she also has to pay for the clothes, diapers, and food for the baby. It seems harder for a mother to provide for a child if she has a hard time
