Those numbers do not say anything positive about job security for out honored veterans. The adult homeless population is filled with veterans, 12% are homeless veterans. “70% of homeless veterans suffer from substance abuse, while 50% experience mental health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which makes it harder to maintain relationships and hold down a job” (11 Facts… Veterans). America has gone from a country to where we could come together and talk our differences to a country where there is absolutely no communication and just violence. American citizens should not be scared to express our opinion about anything. That is the beautiful thing about America, someone can express their religion, sexuality, political views, etc. but that is completely terminated when the citizens are simply scared of the potential violent acts by other citizens.
