Abortion is a very serious and controversial topic. Before I begin I must say that you should be informed on the opposing side as much as your own before you argue on a subject such as this. Which I have done throughout my first learning about abortion to now. With that said, I will be explaining abortion, giving statistics, countering pro-choice arguments, and telling you ways to stop this American Holocaust against the unborn. This subject has been said to be overused but I wish to show you new points and tell you these things in a way that sits better than just being scolded at by pro-lifers. A much debated issue is on when human life begins. Science has time and time again proved that life begins at fertilization and conception. Conception being the moment when the egg is fertilized by the sperm, bringing into existence the zygote, which is now an individual human being with its own distinguishable DNA. Many people are fed the lie that there is no distinct medical or scientific consensus on the matter. Many think it is a matter of your own belief system as to when life begins. But it has been defined many, many times by people such as Dr. Bradley M. Patten in his textbook, Human Embryology, Dr. Keith L. Moore’s textbook on embryology, Doctor J.P. Greenhill and E.A.
