Nurses are first hand witnesses to the travesty of abortion, and these stories are finally being shared. A nurse from Jacksonville, Florida, witnessed the murder of an infant and the heartlessness of people. Her story began with a saline abortion. A saline abortion is where the doctors inject saline into the amniotic fluid that the baby is surrounded by in the second trimester. This baby was born with burned skin as though she had been splashed with boiling water, crying out in pain, but no one to comfort her. No one to hold her. No one to stop the pain. The nurse, Kathleen Malloy, noticed that this baby girl was left alone to die a miserable death. She had to watch this baby die because it is against the law to interfere with an abortion. Who could do this to a child? Who could knowingly put a little baby through so much pain and suffering? Who could watch this horrible thing and not have a care in the world (Terzo)? There are many more stories just like the one shared above. This is happening all over …show more content…
A child should have the chance to live a long and wonderful life. No matter which way we look at abortion, it is murder. Life is a precious thing and it should be treated like it is. Women who want an abortion because of a mistake they made they are selfish and immoral. Abortion should not be a way out, and women should be held accountable. Abortion is not justified by the fetus not being developed a baby is a baby. They are defenseless infants that do not stand a chance against those who have hate and selfishness in their heart. It is not the child’s fault that they were conceived so why should little babies pay for their parents mistakes? Also, having an abortion affects the mother long term. It can cause mental instability, thoughts of death, and other effects. We can look at abortion from either side and easily infer that it is wrong, and anyone with a half a heart could see that it is immoral and

Marlise Munoz’s life was cut short by what is believed to be a blood clot in her lungs. A pregnant spouse with a son already born about a year ago, she was in the kitchen but collapsed, resulting in her becoming brain-dead. As her family was preparing for the doctors to pull the plug at John Peter Smith Hospital in Texas, the family received shocking news; the hospital was unwilling to disconnect life support, as she was pregnant. Texas, along with over twenty other states in the U.S., do not allow pregnant women to be taken off of life support, regardless of their condition and/or wishes. Disconnecting life support would end up classifying as “abortion.”…

Many women don’t know how abortion affects their baby, they just look at it as a way to fix a mistake they may have made by becoming pregnant in the first place. I don’t believe that this is right at all. In 2012, unmarried women accounted for 85.3% of all abortions. (U.S. Abortion Statistics) To me that seems like just a lot of women who felt alone, and like they couldn’t take care of a baby on their own.…

An abortion is effectively a medical decision and it should be made between the mother and her doctor. A woman should not be forced to have a child, and it would make little sense for a woman to have a child when they may not be ready. It would be unfair to not only the mother, but the child as well, the child may not receive the level of care that it deserves. Mothers may choose abortion because they are not prepared to have a child, it makes no sense for the mother to be forced into parenthood. After the child is born, the only people that will be there to support it would be its parents, and if the parents are not ready, there will be no way for the child receive the care it…

Besides the effects that it could have on the mother there are several moral reasons against abortion. Many do not believe that the baby is a baby until it is born, and so they do not believe that an abortion is wrong or that it is killing a baby. Most people who believe this are not Christians either and have no moral reason or any higher being that says it is wrong. And although they don’t believe this it is true and God says that abortions are wrong and that a baby is a baby at the point of conception.…

One reason abortion is a social issue is because people don’t know whether it should be either illegalized or legalized everywhere. Tom Anderson says,” if abortions become illegalized then it will have a significant impact on women and would cause society to become like the third world. ”(Anderson,3) Which he describes as a place where the population suffers from poverty, malnutrition, treatable disease, poor health care, unemployment and lastly a place where women feel little empowerment concerning their reproductive lives. Abortion is a touchy issue. Many say it is okay, others are totally against it, and some think it’s acceptable, depending of the circumstances. In my opinion, it’s wrong and not at all necessary, unless in the case of pregnancy, the mother is informed she will perish during the pregnancy term. Science continues to say a fetus is only a small “lump of tissue” but it isn’t, it’s human, it is a life. We are taught, “You shall not murder,” yet there are about 100, 000 lives aborted yearly.…
