Anthony List, founded on February 4, 1993 and reorganized in 1997, who attempt to place elected representatives into Congress who will strive to put an end to unjust abortions that are viewed as being done simply because the mother feels that she cannot care for a child on her own. The mission statements for this organization reads, “Passing the Pain-capable unborn child protection act to protect unborn children at five months ending taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood” (sba-list.org). While the National Right to Life organization provides opportunities for the members to participate in the pro life movement by getting members involved through conventions and utilizing available resources, the Susan B. Anthony group provides more solidary benefits and utilizes their resources at a more legislative level, meaning that the Susan B. Anthony List uses a majority of their donations to contribute to campaign funds in order to help fill government positions with representatives willing to fight for putting an end to abortion. The Susan B. Anthony List has contributed an abundant more amount of money towards political candidates in comparison to the other two organizations. They have given over one million dollars to help place political candidates into office whom they deem fit to fight for rights of the unborn since 2014 whereas the National Right to Life Committee has only contributed $15,000 given by individuals and $8,320 given by the organization as a whole recently in 2016. (opensecrets.com) Also, the money that is raised in WI stays in that state to help fight for their cause locally. Another factor that influences the resources is lobbying. While each of the organizations attempt to lobby for their cause, they go about it in different manners. The national organizations attempt to use direct lobbying more than indirect lobbying whereas the Pro Life organization of WI attempts to use indirect lobbying methods such as protests and rallies for their
