Fight for Rights Many people in the world today are very hypocritical, they will criticize you for doing something wrong but when they do it then it’s completely fine. In today’s society if a woman decides to get an abortion, the world will criticize her for being so inconsiderate. A person who hasn’t been in this situation wouldn’t understand how difficult it is to make that decision. Therefore, the only way you can truly understand is if you step in their shoes, or at least try to. Many Americans have different perspective on abortion, some are pro-choice stating that a woman has the right to do what she feels is necessary and some are pro-life which state that a baby is a human being and should be preserved instead of killed. Many people don’t know the reason behind abortions. For instances, if a woman is raped or impregnated and is forced to keep the child, then the child will be a constant reminder that she was sexually abused. Not only will this lead to many psychological problems to the mother, it will also affect the child. The child might not get love he/she deserves from the mother or anyone in the family, which can cause the child to go into isolation, depression and have other emotional and mental problems. Another reason why a woman might get an abortion is because of financial reasons. If the woman is not financially stable and she can’t take care of herself how will she take care of her child? Children are not cheap, there are many responsibilities that comes with raising a child. Making sure the child is healthy and gets a good education are the main responsibilities, but if the mother is living in poverty and is not well educated herself, then raising a child to be well educated can be a difficult task due to the environment the child was raised in. Children need attention from their mothers and if a single mother works full-time while her child is in day care all day the child will be deprived of what they need. There are other cases such as an unhealthy fetus which can cause complications during the pregnancy. In circumstances like this, women have no option but to get an
