Many pro-choice Christians start their argument however, saying that a fetus or unborn baby is not considered a human yet; so what does the bible say about this? Well the bible states a human as something with personal attributes such as sin or joy, when first hearing this it 's easy to assume a baby does not sin or feel joy but these two passages describe a unborn baby having both In Psalm 51:5, David says, “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.” In Luke 1:44, “For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.” or another that states and unborn fetus is a baby, Luke 1:41 states, “When Elizabeth heard Mary 's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit (1:44).”. After reading this regardless of your position you can 't deny the bible calling a fetus a child or baby, normally the bible is known to be interpreted by the reader, however these are texts straight from the Bible with clear meanings. It is easy to understand how some pro-life Christians believe plain and simple, abortion is taking a life, should be considered murdered and should be illegal, just as it is easy to see how a pro-choice Christian could be worried of a woman getting her rights taken
