Should abortion be legal in Mongolia?
Abortion is the process of ending a fertility when women wants. Why do people choose misbirth? Not only adult but also adolescent abort their unborn babies. There might be complicated reasons including an unwanted and unplanned pregnancy or rape for choosing the feticide. There are two types of ending of a pregnancy either surgical or medical abortion. The surgical method is pulling the baby from the vaginal canal by using large toothed grasping clamp. Mongolia is one of the 61 countries in the world where the termination of pregnancy is legal without restriction (The world’s abortion laws, 2013). According to McGraw-Hill Concise Dictionary of Modern Medicine (2002), unwanted fertility is that one or both biological parents do not desire to have baby and do not plan a child, otherwise, it might be caused by both rape and forced or unwanted sex. Therefore, pro-choice people say that women have the right to decide what they want to do with their body. However, feticide has to be prohibited because it is not only about women. This is also about the fetus who is an unborn human being. Mongolians have been considered for a long time that embryos are human beings. It is wrong that innocent and fetal lives are terminated on their either mother’s or father’s behalf. There are other options for unintended pregnancy such as adoption, or parenting. One example is that in Mongolian society, it is hard to raise children due to the high cost of living, including kindergarten, or school. On the other hand, the Mongolian government weakly supports citizens. People who have a lower quality of life cannot be supported by the government, so people do not have an alternative except the termination. The biggest reason for this issue might be delaying a having a child. According to Munkhbayar (2009), 600 thousand unborn babies are aborted since 1989 when abortion has legalized in Mongolia. In addition, Mongolia is one of the country where motherhood deserves the medal of honor. According to PRI (2011), women who have six or more children deserve “First glorious of motherhood” which comes with 154$ monthly, but also mothers of the four children are given by “Second glorious of motherhood” along with 77$ per a month, also they explained that “Working Mongolian women were given a maternity leave of 101 days”. Based on this, Mongolian mothers have been supported by government. Therefore, legislation of delaying fertility must be prohibited. The future of Mongolia looks bright if government keep increasing to

Abortion is already a political issue today, with many states having strict regulations opposing it. In fact, in 2016, Texas went so far as to pass a regulation requiring cremation or burial of fetal remains. It will also undermine the right of a woman to decide to terminate a pregnancy after implantation, regardless of the origin of the pregnancy (which would be relevant in cases of rape) and regardless of the fertilized egg being known to have genetic…

If a fetus is removed from the womb, it is cut off from all nutrition or energy that it receives from its mother. Without nutrition, it can no longer thrive, grow, or develop on its own and the only response to any stimuli presented is death. Most abortions save women from gruesome psychological effects due to rape or incest. Forcing a woman to carry and give birth to a child without her consent is bound to cause more psychological harm than the abortion itself (“10 Arguments: For and Against Abortion”). In most fetus fatal abnormalities such as a missing limb can be detected which can result in death shortly before or after the baby is born.…
