There is about 1.2 million abortions that are performed each year in the United States. Right now 3,000 unborn infants are killed each day. Abortion is one of the most frequent medical procedures each year. More than 40% of all women will have an abortion at some point in their reproductive lives (emedicinehealth). The current situation is that Abortion is legal in all 50 States. There has been many court trials on whether abortion should be legal or illegal, for instance Roe v Wade, when abortion was first legalized. A baby's life begins before it is born. A new individual human being begins at fertilization, when the sperm and egg meet to form a single cell. For over 100 years, medical science has definitely known and proven that every living thing begins at the moment of fertilization (Anand Pain Report). Life starts the moment of conception. Abortion isn’t morally right, it’s practically murder. Another reason a woman might obtain an abortion is that she wants to end her child's suffering.
