Abortion; We Need the Choice
The abortion rate in the United States has gone down since 1996 and the United States doesn’t have the highest rate of abortion in the world (Proquest Staff). Women deserve the right to an abortion, and they do have that right. But pro lifers want to take these rights away, and mostly white male politicians are the deciding factor. Most pro lifers see pro choice people as murder lovers, but in actuality, they just want women to be able to make the choice for themselves (University Wire). Women haven’t quite broken the glass ceiling on abortion rights because of the fact that people want to take these rights away. This paper will discuss the ways that abortions are performed, the history of abortion rights, and what President Trump and pro lifers want to do about abortion rights. The first thing this paper will discuss is how abortions are performed. Abortions are performed in many ways, depending on how far along the fetus is. Women deserve the choice as it is their body and they are the only ones that know what is best for themselves and their child. Which is better; a child on the streets, or a child never born?
