My group never fails to bring up the fact that we were once kids and could have easily been put in the position that most kids whom face the threats of being aborted face. When looking at that it easily coincides with identification. The division part of the identifications come in when the foundation realizes you agree with them on the image or their narrative. If you agree with the image or narratives, then you are like them and when you are like them, you should have the same views as them which is pro life therefore dividing or differencing you from the others, and the other being pro-choice because the are the ones whom fund or stand with planned parenthood.

Wade, the Pro-Life movement has also had a large impact on societal views of abortion. The National Abortion Rights Action League and the National Right to Life Committee are just a few of the hundreds of organizations fighting against abortion in the United States. Before the legalization of abortion in 1973, these groups defined themselves as “anti-abortion,” but after their major loss due to the decision, they began to use terminology such as “pro-life.” They started to use this new phrase to gain a moral leverage point, claiming they are saving the lives of the potential children. However, the term “pro-life” is deemed by many to be wildly inaccurate due to their blatant disregard for the life of the pregnant women, only caring about the fetus.…

Abortion has been a great topic of debate for many years, both in terms of law/rights and in morality/religion. The constant debate has split people into two sides: Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Those who are Pro-Choice believe that women have a right to decide the fate of their body, health, and life. They personally may not get an abortion, but they feel that it is still the right of the mother to choose. Abortion prevents unsafe pregnancies, protects women 's right to choose, liberates women from patriarchal control over women 's sexual and reproductive lives, and allows the mother to choose whether, when, and how often to have a child.…

Sociological imagination comes into play; abortion is a personal issue for each woman who desires to undergo the procedure, but these women are often held back by public opinion and restrictive governmental laws. Conflict theory also comes into play because the government is trying to defund the organization to prevent it from administering abortions. The government wants to keep the power in this situation. If they cannot prevent Planned Parenthood from funding abortions with private donations, then they are going to try to lessen its funds as a whole because they do not believe in its motives. Symbolic interactionism would highlight how Planned Parenthood could be a symbol.…

For that reason, being pro-life is the reason I am not able to completely associate myself with Feminism. In saying so, I do not object Feminism nor treat activists with hate because many rights for women, especially female minorities or females in other countries, are diminished immensely. When being affiliated with feminist agenda, as a solution, I do not denounce individuals who strongly believe in what they are working towards because in most cases I do agree with them. I, along with others who are not feminists, can still be active in working for women’s rights by voicing our own opinions in hopes of convincing others to think about what being a woman means to…
