Abortion Abortion is a highly controversial and debatable dilemma and a wide spread epidemic. It is the process in which the developing child is removed from a mother’s womb. The basic point of an abortion procedure is easy to understand and sickening in many ways; to end a human life. Keeping all situations and instances in mind, abortion was and still stays, an act of violence against the unborn child as well as the woman about to have a baby. It is considered an immoral crime in itself. Abortion should have never been legalized. Many will argue that there are certain situations where taking an innocent life is necessary and normal, others see it as a way out. Some individuals will even turn to it simply because they are not up for the task and responsibility of raising their own child. These people do not recognize and appreciate the gift of life. They see pregnancy only as an issue that can be fixed by what they call a “medical procedure.” These individuals who are pro abortion do not see the consequences and negative in the actual process. For one, life begins at conception and abortion is considered murder. It is in direct defiance of the commonly accepted idea of the sanctity of human life. They do not view it as taking the life of an innocent person. No civilized society allows one human to intentionally take the life of another without punishment.
