Abigail's Lies In The Crucible

Lies caused a big problem for John Proctor and the other in Act lll. John went to the court and was gonna have Mary Warren confess that the girls were lying and that they were fake. But as the story went on John was fed up of Abigail’s lies. He confessed that he had an affair with Abigail. The judges wanted to bring out Elizabeth because John claimed that she knew about the affair. As Elizabeth came in the room and was questioned she lied to protect John's name and that caused John to get arrested for lying. Lying was a big issue in this act it got a lot of people arrested and probably even killed.

Lying has impacted my life by far the most. There’s always rumors going around about some little thing no one knows about but that person. I remember
