“Gah! I’d almost forgot how strong you are John Proctor!” This is a quote from Abigail Williams in the play The Crucible, when she grabbed John's arm. John came back to the town of Salem because he had heard about the witchcraft going on in the town . He wanted to see what was going on, and what all the commotion was actually about. Abigail missed John Proctor a lot from the last time they saw each other, so when she got him alone she got a bit touchy. Abigail Williams and I have a few personality traits in common like, we are both a control freak, sneaky, and super clingy.
Abigail Williams and I share a few traits such as, being a control freak. Abigail is a control freak in the play The Crucible because she always wants things to go her way. When Abigail had to go to court to face Mary Warren, she didn't want to get in trouble for anything and nobody was believing her, so she just started to do things her way. I am like Abigail in this way because I like things to go my way, if something doesn't go my way i'm usually fine unless it's a big deal. I also have to make sure things look nice or in order.

You can tell for sure that Abigail Williams is clingy towards John Proctor. Every time she sees him she wants to talk to him, or touch him, or wants his attention. In the beginning of the play when she gets him alone she starts to grab his arm and say how strong he is. Now, in clingy too but probably worse than her but it's because i feel safe when i'm being clingy. Im clingy all the time with my boyfriend when he is texting me, holding me, cuddling me, or even looking at me. I want attention from him all the time, but it's okay because he's the same way and neither of us have a problem with
