Abigail Smith Adams was born to William Smith and Elizabeth Quincy in Weymouth, Massachusetts on November 11, 1744. Her Father was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts on January 29th, 1706. He was a Congregational minister before he died in 1783. Her mother was born in Braintree, Massachusetts in 1721 and married in 1740 before she died in 1775.
