In the book crucible written by Arthur Miller. It represent a lot of character traits but the one to mainly blame is abigail. I believe she has the most blame for what was happening in the play. Abigail is lust, spitefulness, and jealousy.

Abigail is lust for exhibiting sexual desires for proctor which they had an unfair. It all started when Abigail was a servant at the proctor's house. She will be seducing proctor. One evidence would be “ john - I am waiting for you every night” (21). The quote explains how Abigail is exhibiting sexual desire for john still. She wants to kill Elizabeth. She wants to kill her to be with proctor. One evidence would be “ you did, you did! You drank a charm to kill john proctor's wife! You drank a charm to kill goody proctor” (18). This explains she drank the blood in order to kill Elizabeth. Another evidence would be “ The girl, the William girl, Abigail Williams , sir she say to dinner in reverend Parris house tonight, and without word nor war in she stalls to the floor like a struck beast and she says and screamed that a bill would weep to hear. Had he goes to save her, and, stuck two inches in the flesh of her belly, he draw a needle out. And demandin’ of her how she come to be stabbed, testify it were your wife's familiar spirit pushed it in” (70-71). This explains Abigail wants Elizabeth to be accused of witchcraft so she can die.

In conclusion This three character traits explain the wait Abigail is and plus that she has the biggest blame for what was going on during the play. She's is all of this three character traits lust, spitefulness, and jealousy. I believe that she does have the biggest blame because she wanted to kill Elizabeth so she can be with proctor but everything gets out of control and she starts picking in innocent people and they get hanged.
