Abigail Danielle Or Abbey: A Short Story

As a newborn photographer, I'm always thrilled to have repeat sessions with a family. It's a special treat for me to see families grow and expand over the years. It's like watching a well-loved niece or nephew learning to sit up and walk.

One of my favorite families returned with their new little girl recently. I have been photographing this family since they brought their son, Luke, into the studio for his newborn session.

At the family session last fall, Evie and James revealed that they were pregnant again and having a girl. I was ecstatic for them. The new arrival leveled the playing field in this little family. Her name is Abigail Danielle or Abbey for short. Adorable Abbey was born on April 8th weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces. She was 6 days new at the time of her session with this newborn photographer.

He's been very loving and gentle with her, and there's no reason to believe they won't be incredibly close as they grow up together. It's the couple's hope that the two will be friends as well as
