Examples of service sector jobs include housekeeping, restaurant work, nursing, teaching, and computer tech-support. In the 1990’s the manufacturing industry was the dominant industry. But with increase of importing products from China and other countries, the service industry (health care) was just beginning. There was also an increase of retail employees, but it they decreased after the recession.
