Academics are arguably one of the more important issues at hand. Having good grades is the byproduct of the school having great teachers. Aberdeen has just that. The exciting activities that AHS provides helps kids to be more involved and feel like they belong. Not many schools can do preforming arts because of the lack of money, but Aberdeen’s faith and funding put into their preforming arts allows musically and artistically talented kids to grow and develop into masters of the arts. It pays off, too, because Aberdeen’s music program is one of the best in the Harbor. Aberdeen has a wide variety of sports for male and female athletes to choose from, major examples being: football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, and much more. The Aberdeen sports programs are well structured, and with the great coaches, the teams always have amazing chemistry and do their very best.
