Education is, in many ways, the building blocks for your future. Being enrolled in a well-structured high school is very important in building these blocks. Aberdeen High School, or AHS, is a great example of these amazing high schools that set students on the right path to succeed. Being able to provide students with many opportunities is the key to this success. From well-taught academics, to the long list of diverse activities, Aberdeen’s students are given many opportunities to take control of their futures and succeed. Academics are arguably one of the more important issues at hand. Having good grades is the byproduct of the school having great teachers. Aberdeen has just that. For better learning environments, Aberdeen has many AP classes available to challenge and excite students into working harder. A hard-working staff creates opportunities for job and college preparation. With options like AVID, World Class Scholars, and the Running Start program, students can easily become more equipped for the struggles and stress of college. Programs like FFA, …show more content…
The exciting activities that AHS provides helps kids to be more involved and feel like they belong. Not many schools can do preforming arts because of the lack of money, but Aberdeen’s faith and funding put into their preforming arts allows musically and artistically talented kids to grow and develop into masters of the arts. It pays off, too, because Aberdeen’s music program is one of the best in the Harbor. Aberdeen has a wide variety of sports for male and female athletes to choose from, major examples being: football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, and much more. The Aberdeen sports programs are well structured, and with the great coaches, the teams always have amazing chemistry and do their very best. These marvelous programs help students figure out that they’re passionate for, and with the many options, Aberdeen High School makes just that
