I believe Lincoln deserves to be one of our most beloved presidents. He accomplished many things in his life. He achieved many great things. Many of his accomplishments inspired people to start achieving their own. He changed the nation with his presidency. Abe Lincoln did many different things as president. Some of them were good, and some were bad. I think the good outweighs the bad. As a child, Abe obtained the nickname “Honest Abe.” He walked three miles to return six and a quarter cents. Slaves weren’t the only thing Abe helped free. He invented a device that freed ships stuck in shallow water. Now Abe wasn’t perfect, he also caused a lot of grief. His actions started a war.
