New Gen Case Summary
My role in the New Gen skit was Abdul Balli. To prepare for the role of Abdul I took into account his experience and standing in New Gen. I also took into account the roles of other characters in New Gen such as Hahn Chen and Amie Lee. From the beginning, I knew that in order to fill Abdul’s role, I would need to be outgoing and assertive for both the sake of the storyline but also so everything I was doing would be more obvious to the audience. As far as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, I filled the features of outgoing, and assertive throughout the skit. I also researched the affective events theory to get a better understanding of how promoting Amie in an unprofessional manner
