Abductions: The Bravo Gang (MFJP)

After the abductions took place there were two men that were initially labeled as suspects, Rafael Con-Quintero and Ernesto Fonseca. These men were successfully able to flee the area by private jet. It was later discovered that these men paid the Mexican Primer Comandante Pavon-Reyes of the Mexican Federal Judicial Police (will be known as the MFJP) a six-figure bribe to allow the men to escape. The United States wanted answers to what happened to their DEA Special agent and was pressuring the MFJP to accelerate the investigation. Due to this pressure the Mexican drug traffickers and the Mexican law enforcement officials (that were paid off) devised a plan to set up a local rival drug gang known as the Bravo Gang.
