God sends the Son to Earth to place judgement on Adam and Eve. He confronts them and makes them explain what happened. Sin and Death have completed the highway to Hell. The lecture described this path as a transportation system for the future generations of souls from Earth. This path to Hell for human could have only been created with Satan completing his part of the mission. Book six and seven are glossed over but they summarized as God sending Satan to Hell after the war in Heaven and being confronted by the Son. However, Milton points out an angel named, Abdiel because he questioned everything that Satan said. Abdiel is used as a symbol to show that angels are capable to resisting temptation. Book eight is the conversation between Raphael and Adam because Adam wants to know everything about Heaven. Raphael suggests that Adam should only be concerned with being “lowly wise” and what is happening within his domain. Also, Raphael warns Adam about carnal pleasures. Sadly, in book nine, Adam is tempted by Eve to eat from the tree. Later that night, they give into their carnal pleasure and have committed the first sin. Book ten is about the consequences Adam and Eve must face after eating from the tree of knowledge. Michael comes down to tell them that they must leave Eden and wander around Earth until they are able to join God in Heaven. Overall, I think that Milton did a great job on his view on the story of creation and the battle in Heaven. Although, I did not agree with his views on
