It has come to my attention that there needs to be reminders sent out regarding ABC Medical’s Social Media Policy. Technology is advancing everyday and with it so is social media. Social media includes: Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc. With that being said, the following social media policy is effective immediately.
All employees’ have an obligation to maintain compliance with HIPAA for all residents, patients, family members of patient’s and fellow employees. ABC Medical’s Social Media Policy clearly states that NO employee shall participate in any threatening, obscene, abusive, vulgar, or slanderous
