“A hero is braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer,” said Ralph Waldo Emerson. I think he is correct; a hero doesn’t give up he keeps pushing through no matter what happens. A hero to me is someone who does not give up no matter what the situation may be. For example Abby Wambach, retired professional soccer player, in the middle of the a soccer game against Japan. One of the players from Japan accidentally kicks Abby Wambach in the head while both players were in the air reaching for the ball. Abby wambach had opened her head up, but she decided she wanted to stay the whole game. She told the trainers to staple her head, so they did and she played the rest on the half which was 30 minutes left of the second half.
