Aaron was a very talented and successful man throughout his life, until he took a turn down the wrong path. He committed many crimes from 2007 to 2013 and was serving his time for them in prison. There is only two windows and two slots for handcuffing (Martinez 1-2). Aaron’s prison life would not be easy for him, since he was considered a famous former NFL player and convicted murderer. When Aaron arrived at the prison, they did not know where to place him for his own safety: solitary confinement, less harsh but restricted block, general population, privileged section (aka “lifters block”) for inmates serving a life sentence (like Aaron’s sentence), or the “kitchen block”. Aaron was considered the most famous inmate and would likely be signing a lot of autographs. Some of the staff will most likely treat him differently, even when told not to do so (Martinez 2-4). The sheriff who had Aaron in custody said, "He is a master manipulator and will probably do fine in prison." He would even try to convince the officers who were ordered to treat him like anyone else in prison. Aaron was also accused of threatening to kill a guard and his family, along with getting into a fight with another inmate ("Aaron Hernandez is a
