What We Saw by Aaron Hartzler was an interesting book. Throughout the book we learn more and more about the alleged rape at a house party. We’re also told a good bit about Kate, the protagonist. Kate’s story was quite intriguing but the book takes a while to really get started and become interesting. Surprisingly, What We Saw is actually an accurate representation of how school is for most highschoolers. It deals with relationships, college preparation, bullying, and other common problems. There are some parts of the story that are extremely interesting but the majority of the beginning is extremely boring. After about a hundred pages of introductions is when you start to be pulled in and it just gets juicy from there. Bottom line, I would
