AVID Program Reflection

Decent Essays
In 8th Grade, I was given the opportunity to apply for and be accepted into the AVID Program.
The AVID Program – Advancement via Individual Determination, is a college preparatory class. The program, initially taught me organization skills and how to set goals.
However, that was just the beginning, AVID has given me the tools to better develop and utilize my study skills. It has assisted me in gaining confidence in myself, which has led to enhanced skills in communication with both my teachers and fellow students.
