ATS Tuscaloosa Processing Department Case Study

There are deficiencies within the management team that impacts the store operations and keeps the store from achieving success. ATS Tuscaloosa processing department does not utilize any company procedures consistently to maintain or to meet ATS standards . Inconsistencies within the process is a common premise throughout all departments. Store Management has failed to maintain many of the company guidelines or constitutes the departments accordingly to ATS standard operational procedures (SOP).

It’s my opinion, if the production department maintains their present direction and course, the company will see further weakening in the CWT and ITF production rates and a decline in future sales.

It’s my opinion, the GM and ASM lacks the professional ethos to perform the required tasking and training needed to lead the store and its employees towards future growth within the company . They struggle to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with employees, and they do not encourage open communication, cooperation, and the sharing of

It’s my opinion, production is operating daily with less than the minimum needed labor requirement. Brad Christopher and I both spoke with management on the need for increase labor to meet the requirement set by the company . It takes only one person out of work on the production staff and the process in danger of not meeting daily CWT and ITF.

It’s my opinion, the store attrition rate will increase due to poor morale amongst the lower level leadership and employee’s. There were several employees sharing their frustrations concerning management amongst themselves. Others shared that they were actively looking for employment elsewhere.

It is imperative that ATS Management intercede in the day to day operations of ATS Tuscaloosa to reconstruct ATS policies, procedures and operational
