AS300 LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS

1. When you think of a leader you think of all the different characteristics that make them a great leader. And while thinking about the different characteristics that make them a great leader, these questions may be considered: What leadership characteristics are most important to me? Why are these characteristics important to me? Who has demonstrated these characteristics? How does the demonstration of these characteristics make a person a better leader? While answering these questions I will be able to accurately describe what characteristics stick out to me in a great leader.
2. What leadership characteristics are most important to me? Why are these characteristics important to me? The leadership characteristics that I find most intriguing would have to be good communication skills, commitment, integrity, delegation, confidence, and followership. While there are many other characteristics that I believe a great leader should have, these seem to be the most important to me. I believe that a good leader should have good communication skills because they should be able to clearly communicate with everyone and be able to

If I had to name someone that demonstrated these characteristics I would have to name Lieutenant Colonel Garcia. As an officer in the Air Force he has to and does carry all of these characteristics that make up a good leader.
4. I believe that the demonstration of these characteristics make a person a better leader because actually seeing someone that is a successful leader with these characteristics is more believeable than if you were to just hear that someone should have these characteristics.
5. To reiterate, the leadership characteristics that I find most intriguing would have to be good communication skills, commitment, integrity, delegation, confidence, and followership, because all these things combined make a strong leader that others may want to follow and be like one
