In AP US History, we had to read and take notes on a textbook chapter at home while Mr. Zande expanded on the content in class. This way, we were able to get things done on our own instead of in class while directed by a teacher. The third benefit is the AP tests and college applications. Taking the AP tests potentially allows me to receive college credits and having an AP class on your transcript always looks good to colleges. Now for the costs.
