AP psychology was a class like no other I had ever taken. Being a generally more quiet and reserved person, this class forced me to come out of that zone of comfort and security. From group projects, to singing and even a project called Catharsis, which involved getting us even more out of our comfort zones, I discovered that I actually loved working with others and learning about people. But the year was definitely worthwhile. I decided that the following year I wanted to become more involved in my school and find an organization that meant as much for me as my AP Psych class did. My junior year I joined two clubs that really caught my attention. Interact and Hosa. I wanted to follow my passions and work with others helping out in the community as well as learning about different professions in Hosa and competing.
