Currently I have a 91%(91/100 points) in this section, I am trying to maintain it to where I can get closer to the 95% score. I messed up during the week 2 homework, because I organized it poorly since I went on vacation that weekend, which doesn’t give me an excuse on me making a poor decision on doing the homework last minute rather than getting my work done ahead of time. I received a 12/20 on that week’s homework, which really took a toll on my score for that category, but I’ve been working hard and earning 20’s and one 19 for the rest of the homework we’ve been assigned. In-class participation has been fairly easy so far also. My current grade is a 100%(30/30 points). There isn’t much for me to work on besides probably speaking up and answering more questions. I sometimes hold myself back to just see what other answers people share to examine whether or not my answer is correct, but for me, I more of a read, listen, and memorize type of learner. I don’t really need much of the part where I need to be actively involved in activities, I usually just understand the part of reading the book, knowing that there’s one way to do something and just memorize …show more content…
Tests are given to basically show how much you can memorize and be able to reflect on what you’ve learned. The first and only test we have taken so far is the Chapter 1 test, which I didn’t do as good as I thought I was going too. I received a 72%(36/50 points), which just isn’t acceptable under my terms. I felt confident going into the test, and coming out of it. When I was looking at how I had done on my homework, I told myself I don’t really need to study, maybe just review some notes and I should be fine, but I was wrong. Having received a 72% on a test that I felt confident about has just really made me want to try even harder and earn an 100% on the next. Preparing myself for the next one I plan on studying about 3 or 4 days’ prior of the test on anything I don’t understand and reviewing all notes and chapter we have covered for that
