According to the National Survey of Children’s Health (2015), one in every four school aged children are dealing with the same type of disability today. This disability is known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or commonly referred to as ADHD. With such a large statistic on the rise, many people are searching for answers that may help them understand their children’s behavior better. Much of the information on this website is similar to what can be found on the CDC’s website for ADHD and many other medical sites. One such piece of this information is the definition of the disorder. Both sites, as well as a few more, refer to ADHD as a neurobehavioral disorder that interferes with typical development within the brain.
