I just sat there, thinking. ADHD had plagued me everyday of my life, and this little white pill was supposed to somehow make it all go away? I was skeptical to say the least, but the exam started in under thirty minutes and time was a luxury I didn’t have. I figured “how bad could it be”, so in one fluid motion, I cocked my head back and swallowed. A half hour later, I was five minutes into my exam and no surge of brilliance had come up to greet me. I tried to answer what I could, but half the questions didn’t make sense and I knew time would run out before I got anywhere. Suddenly, just as I was accepting my fate, it happened.
