ADHD: A Common Disorder

ADHD is a common disorder which can have the children to disturb the class by misbehaving, talking too much, and always moving around. ADHD is a mental disorder that affects children and adolescents wither their behavioral and emotional adjustment. These type of disorder overlaps with a learning disability (LD) since the students tend to have issues with either comprehension of reading, math, and writing. These correlates with the two types of ADHD which are predominantly inattentive and predominantly hyperactive-impulsive. Those with predominantly inattentive have issues to organize their structures, and hyperactive-impulsive have a problem with controlling themselves. There a variety of manners to diagnosis ADHD which include visiting a doctor, psychologist, educational diagnostician, and neurologist. They need to collect data from the teacher, parents, and the student. They observed the student’s behavior during class and at home by a behaviorist. They can get checked by a doctor or psychologist which they can diagnosis the student with ADHD. Also, the method I see accurate is the CT scan and MRI assessment of a particular part of the brain which correlates with those of ADHD. This disorder seems to be an active format of diagnosing ADHD since we can have a large size of misdiagnosing
