Last night, LT Mullen and myself were conducting AD3 Euerle evaluation debrief. During the debrief, she was asked how she was doing and how she was feeling working in the CPO Mess as FSA. First, she expressed concern regarding a day check CS, female, that treats all the FSA's an I quote: " like slaves". She has been dealing with the situation for a little while, so to avoid the problem to issue to another level, she asked to be put in night, this way she do have to be around this CS. She actually said that the CS's don't care about anything. One of the problems that she try to correct is that they do not sort the trash, so they make the FSA's to dig in the trash to do it. She had brought this to them in multiple times and the answer is the same, that is not our job. She clearly understand her job and her position to support them, but the treatment that she has been receiving is not fair. …show more content…
This case involves another FSA, ABEAN Adams. ABEAN Adams has a record which include counseling and psychologic treatment. He only talk to AD3 and the way that she describe that he express himself is always negatively. She said that he express himself hateful to everything, that he do not have any friends, he always following her around, that he is always upset at all times, and he also emphasizes that he don’t like himself. She is really worry about him and she do not want him to hurt himself or others so, she reach out for help. According to AD3 Euerle, she talked to her immediate supervisor, CS1 Nicholas, but instead of investigate and be aware of the situation, he told Adams that AD3 was talking about him. She is extremely disappointed not only because her immediate supervisor did not care about him, her or the situation, but for the fact that the confidentiality was broken. She is in a point that she do not trust CS1

Clarice P. Jones Referral Information: Clarice Precious Jones was referred to me by Ms. Weiss at the welfare office. While Ms. Jones stated she would no longer be relying on welfare, Ms. Weiss felt it was important that Ms. Jones was set up with an opportunity for counseling and therapeutic services. She was referred to me because I offer very low cost services on a sliding scale in a facility that runs much like a clinic for mental health services. From Ms. Weiss’ referral information, I learned that Ms. Jones is an HIV positive, teenage mother of two who is struggling to find a way to support her children on her own while also being able to remain in her alternative school program at least until she can achieve her GED. During our first meeting I reviewed the Client-Counselor Service Agreement with Ms. Jones.…

I too, agree with Tom’s course of action. Aviation safety is paramount to mission success; more over, this is statement is underpinned with healthy squadron morale. The modern Air Force preaches that bystander behaviour is unacceptable; consequently, failure to acknowledge these concerns goes against our basic principles of right and wrong as it’s no longer tolerable to accept the status quo and follow the party line. My response to this situation would be to engage my fellow squadron members, both aircrew and maintenance with the purpose of validating the perceptions.…

Counselors are faced with many situations that test their moral and ethical beliefs. Although there are numerous guides for counselors to follow, none can offer absolute solutions to every scenario. Some situation, no matter the course of action, may have consequences that may harm the counseling relationship. However, “A practitioner’s guide to ethical decision making”, by the American Counseling Association (ACA) offers a seven step decision making model that will help counselors with the challenges of ethical dilemmas (Forester-Miller & Davis, 1996). This paper will use the decision making model to analyze scenario 2.…

Upon close observation of psychologist Sean Maguire and his therapeutic practice with client Will Hunting, I am proposing some legal, ethical and clinical misconducts of the psychologist and ways to improve and enhance his approach to achieve a more efficient and effective practice. First of all, the client Will is referred by professor Gerald Lambeau, who is the psychologist Sean Maguire’s roommate in college. Professor Gerald Lambeau asked Sean to take the client as a favor when they went out for dinner. Gerald persuaded Sean and provided him with some limited background knowledge of the client, claiming that the client was extraordinarily intelligent. This personal acquaintance between the therapist and the referral can create potential…
