AAU Volleyball State Tournament Research Paper

Have you ever come in second in something? Or have you ever come close to wanting something really bad that it’s unbearable to lose? Well that’s how accomplishing big goals can sometimes end up. Losing by only a couple points can definitely be very heart- breaking. Being able to go the AAU volleyball State Tournament is a big accomplishment; and many great teams are able to make it there. Do you think my team had what it took to make it? As we are in ADM for a volleyball tournament, we all know that we have to try our best no matter if it’s a qualifying tournament or not. We all have team bonding in between games to know what we may need to improve and also just to laugh and have fun.
As we get in a huddle before a game against a pretty good team, our coach says, “If we win this game; we’ll make it to state.”

We all have to believe in ourselves and do our part to help the team out. In other words, we each have to get our serves over, communicate, and also be optimistic even when we’re behind. If you aren’t optimistic when you are behind, it’s not going to get win you any games because you already have the thought that you can’t win in your head. One thing that we had to get in the habit of is finishing our homework at school so we can be at practice most of the night to prepare and work hard for State. Since we are all a team, we have to pick each other up when they are down or when you miss a serve or pass. All of us have to be willing to put 100% in at practice or else we don’t have a huge chance of making it. You get out what you put in, in other words, if you mess around in practice then you most likely you won’t do very good in games. You may not even be able to play because you’ve shown the coach that you may not want to be there to get
