I love everything about it; the players, the coaches, the intensity, the competition, etc. I toiled at it since the third grade where everyone’s a victor in AAU, Amateur Athletic Union. As years elapsed my skills increased which allowed me to undergo an inordinate offer when I first moved to high school. For summer varsity basketball tournaments I was the only freshman girl who was requested to join. It came so effortlessly just as it always had. I hadn’t expected to play abundantly, which was smart on my part; I sat roughly all throughout the day. I didn’t have the highest of hopes for the day, but this was undeniably a let down. Continuously throughout the season I would each game receive progressively more time. Our team’s concluding game of the year was when I acquired the greatest of news. I was going to quarter, which meant I would play less of my JV game to have extra time in the varsity game. All of my dedication and concentrated work pursuing my dream was successful! My friends were genuinely supportive and cheered me on every minute I was involved in. This was my shining moment I’d been dreaming
