In the story, it ended by saying, “Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it.” After he had opened the door, the lady came out with a huge parade after her. The lady and the young man had gotten married with cheers of happiness and the ringing of the happy bells all around the arena. After the couple had gotten married, they went back to their house for a small celebration of their own. While that was happening, the princess had been planning a way to kill the lady. After a couple of days, the princess invited the couple to the castle for a small dinner. When the day of the dinner came upon them, the lady wore a beautiful, long, dark blue dress and had curly hair. The young man wore a black suit. The …show more content…
The servant came close to the lady and with a quick swish a knife came out of the servants pocket, and cut deep into the lady’s throat. Blood gushed out of the lady’s throat and onto the floor.
The princess told the servant to burn the body, the red carpet, the clothes he had on, and the knife, so that there was no evidence to show that the lady was murdered. The servant did as he was told and the princess gave him a big amount of money and told him to get far, far away from the kingdom. Then, the princess went back to the dining room, where the young man had been waiting, and told him that his wife had somehow disappeared. The young man took the princesses word for it and said, “OK.”
Later that night, she told the young man that she wanted to run away with him. The young man agreed. The next day came around and the princess waited until dark to have the young man come to her window to run off together. The young man soon came and the couple ran off far away from the kingdom never to be seen or heard of again. The king had tried to find his daughter, but could not find her and the king had gotten so depressed that his kingdom had gone to
