A Woman's Role In Stopping Her Car

A woman was driving through the darkness at 1:30 a.m. in Carteret County, North Carolina, when she spotted something on the roadway ahead of her. She thought she saw a child sitting on the road, so the 33-year-old pulled up and stopped her car to help.

What she didn't know was that the figure she saw was not a child who needed help, it wasn't even a human. She had been tricked into stopping her car for a dummy that was dressed to look like a kid wearing a red Field & Stream shirt.
She found out very quickly that stopping her vehicle to rescue a child turned out to be a setup and she was really the one who needed help after two men appeared out of nowhere. Both men were wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts when they ran up to her car and started
