This article is titled “Shooting suspect had local history Accused in attack at Planned Parenthood” the article goes in depth about Dear’s past and his relation in the town. The article refers to Dear as the accused suspect so it can be assumed that this article was released before he was convicted of the crime. The author of the article says that the shooter “had a troubled history with ex-wife…” Once again this is an exact use of the words Grenoble mentioned. It is different because in this situation these words have no relation to the incident it means nothing whether or not he was a loner with a troubled past or a happy go lucky little league baseball coach with a 4 children.
