Imagine this. Roaring crowds, speakers blasting, wailing guitar solos. Hold on, Let's back up, we aren’t at there yet. By there I mean the Imagine Dragons concert. Travel back to June 2017 when Halle, Allie, and I are in Lake Powell. That is when this memory starts. Halle is turning 16 in October and all she wants is to go to the Imagine Dragons concert but her mom isn’t sure she wants to let her go. All throughout the summer the concert is all she talks about. One day down at Lake Powell I remember her saying, “Guys, I want to go to this concert more than anything.” Me and Allie already had the feeling it wasn’t going to happen but we didn’t want to burst her bubble. I get this text from Sheri Robinson Saying, “Hey Brinley, So I am thinking about getting Imagine Dragons tickets for Halle on her Birthday but as a surprise. She mentioned you and Allie were thinking about going too...what are your thoughts of making this a surprise for Halle and I can take you all?” Once I received this text, i was ecstatic! This was going to be thrilling! I replied to Sheri, and called Allie immediately. We talk about it and how we were overjoyed. “What a great 16th Birthday!” I thought to myself. I just was so worried about keeping this secret from Halle. I decided to text her and tell her that my mom would not let me go, so it was out of the books for me. Allie did the same. This was going to be so hard! It is now August and school is starting up again and Halle still would not shut up about the concert. She keeps asking her mom about it and her mom says that the tickets are too expensive. She is determined to go to this concert. I thought she knew for sure because she kept mentioning it. Oh No!) Halle’s birthday is October 8th, which is a Sunday. Allie and I decided to go shopping the night of the 7th and buy her so random, weird things that she loves. We pick up some Cheddar cheese and sour cream ruffles, Cheese, a cake, razors, asian candy, deodorant, and a weird slushy. We also pick up some decorations so we can decorate her room, But first we need to clean it. She has a benefit dinner for her play that she is on so we have a solid two hours to clean and decorate her room. We get to her house, walk in, go down stairs, and see that her room is a horrid mess. We get right to work, sorting through clothes. This is going to take
