Analysis Of Sir Ken Robinson's Speech '

In this TED talk that was held in California in 2006, that introduces new ideas throughout the world. A very interesting man named Sir Ken Robinson who is an educator/author. Shared his view points on how the education system was killing the creativity of young minds. He gives a thought provoking presentation that had humor, information and logic that made us the audience question the system and how we are hurting are children and their minds. The goal the Robinson has is to show another side of creativity and the education system and how to it connects together. In the first half of the talk Robinson discusses three themes. He also is humble and entertaining he crack jokes throughout the speech to show that he himself is a creativity man. Another fascinating thing that Robinson does is give personal and real life example to prove his point. One of them that may make anyone laugh is the girl in kindergarten class that never paid any attention but when she was giving a drawing assignment she actually did.so when the teacher asked what she was drawing she responded with I drawing “God” and teacher responded with that no one knows how God looks and girl says “they will in a Minute” .Now from this story you can tell right away that young children have a vast imagination but as we grow older the school system kills that imagination make us think logically then artistically and make us scared of being wrong and because of that we never can come up with anything original. Robinson discusses this in presentation really well. He uses a lot of pathos with having comedy and getting are minds to really think about the system which is a unique way usually a presentation is very serious when trying to put a pint out but Robinson uses way that can relate anyone who has a child that is attending school. Another point that Robinson discusses that shows that anywhere you go the system is the same. To prove that Robinson talks about how his family moved from England to American. Even if the fact they moved the system was the complete same mathematics and language are on the top then humanities and lastly arts. Robinson questions this idea asking why are we are not giving importance to dance class or art? Why are getting educated out of it. Robinson perfectly answers this by saying “When children grow up, we start to educate them progressively from the waist up. And then we focus on their heads. And slightly to one side”. So what
