Stop in for craft upon crafty beers. I opted for the Peanut Butter Porter, Sarah for a blonde ale. This is a quiet bar off the main drag - don't let that fool you this Gastropub is worth the stop.

Cafe 21 is a repeat stop for me. I drag everyone there. The kitchen here slings all organic food and drink. Creole comes to the West Coast! Southern comfort food couldn't have come at a better time. San Diego is riddled with bar food, Italian, and Gastropub-esqe joints. But sometimes you just need to get straight up sloppy with a Po-boy bathed in hot sauce. Sarah and I happened to stop in a few days after their grand opening which was really cool.
