On my way back from my dad’s house my dad seemed a little on edge. I asked him what’s wrong and he said he was disappointed in me. I asked why and he said it was because I didn’t tell him about my skating competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I felt bad, but I told him about it the second I found out i was going (about eight months earlier). I didn’t know what day in august, but I said it was …show more content…
When I walked in I was excited because I was really tired. My grandma went to the front desk and my mom and I saw this sign that said Welcome State Game Of America Figure Skaters. My mom took my picture next to the sign. After my grandma was done talking the the person at the front desk we went up to our room and my grandparents went to bed. “Good job Ana,” my grandma said. I wanted to say no I was awful. I have never got fourth place before. I have only ever got first or second in skating.
After I told my family we left and went back to the hotel and I changed out of my skating stuff. My mom said we should go shopping. So my mom, grandma, and I went shopping at the mall while my grandpa took a nap in the hotel room. We went to a lot of stores and my mom got me a ton of new clothes. We were shopping for over five hours. When we were done shopping we went back to pick up my grandpa so we could go to dinner. We went to olive garden for dinner and it was
